At Rockland Child Care, your child will have an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is safe and nurturing. We recognize each child as an individual with specific talents, needs, and a style all his own. Our seasoned teachers partner with parents to support their child’s cognitive, physical, language, social, emotional and creative development. We are proud of our low staff turnover and our strong reputation in the community for providing more than thirty years of quality care to young children.

Every child is special at Rockland Child Care & Learning Center, we know learning starts at birth and that the first five years of life are the are the most critical in a child’s development. That is why Rockland child Care & Learning Center strive to tailor programs so it matches each one accordingly.
Now, the same great quality care that has been available to Rockland County employees for over 30 years is open to you! We serve children 6 weeks to 5 years old (i.e. infants – preschool). Our prices are competitive.
Parents as Partners
We communicate with parents daily about children’s progress. Drop off and pick up times are good opportunities to briefly share information that helps both staff and parents provide appropriate care. When issues arise, we work cooperatively with you to problem solve and develop a plan to help ease the child through it. Together, we ensure that children’s needs are met.
We also communicate with parents through the Remind App. The teachers share updates and resources instantly with parents, keeping communication accessible while maintaining security and privacy
Parent involvement is an essential component of our program. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to join us for celebrations, participate on committees, support fundraisers, and share your expertise. Volunteering your time and expertise can be an enriching experience for you and a benefit to the center. You will be an important and valued member of our team.
